How to share power bi report with Looker connector

Dear users,

i would have a question regarding, how to share a report which is connected from Power BI to Looker. Basically im working with a report based in Looker -> connected to Power BI.

Question would be, how can i make available (Power BI sharing link) for other users in my env?

Thanks

Hi, @ardoki

In Power BI desktop, you can follow the following tutorial to connect to looker:

Power BI connect to Looker - Microsoft Fabric Community

If the above scenario doesn't work for you, you can try connecting looker to databricks first and then from databricks to PowerBI:

Connect to Looker - Azure Databricks | Microsoft Learn

Of course, you can also directly use the Looker Studio to Power BI provided by Windsor.ai to realize the connection between looker and Power BI.

Actually, i can see the report in a kind Power BI window, but the only indicator is the icon on the left upper corner

other than that, it looks completeley as Looker Studio - which is ok. But i would like it to share it from here -> if somebody wants to open the report, please open the PowerBI env and not the Looker one - that would be it. Not sure if you description is for that?

Hi! Have you published/uploaded your Power BIfile to a workspace in Power BI service (i.e. app.powerbi.com)?

@audreygerred the file actually is located on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) which is connected to the Looker instance - before it was one factory... now i want to change it to Power BI. There is something like a "tunnel" or a "view" how i can access GCP stuff on Power BI - but i probably can not share this option t other consumers - this is the question currently 🙂
