How to resolve issue Direct Query data source or internal model. Double-check that your server

Hi Experts,

 

I have developed reports and shared the same via SharePoint with businesses and now they are facing the below error.

 

Error Message:

We couldn't connect to your DirectQuery data source or internal model. Double-check that your server and database names are correct and that you have permission to access them.

Error Message Detail:

A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the pre-login handshake. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The semaphore timeout period has expired.); The semaphore timeout period has expired. The exception was raised by the IDbConnection interface.


Please kindly help me with this, I need to resolve it asap.

@Heena_9980400 , Under Home Tab -> Data Source setting ->chosse connection and clear permissions and try again

@amitchandak This does not work. I cleared multiple times, cleard cache too, but not able to connect. Strange my collegue is able too.
