How to rename a table with a Direct Query connection

Hello,

My organization forces us to use a Direct Query connection to a datawarehouse. When I try to rename a table that I've created, I get a message that says "Unable to convert an M query in table '...' into a native source query."

Can someone please help me?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @lunm3301 ,

Just double click the table and rename it in power query, close and apply it, it should work.

@lunm3301 , Try to rename it in the visual layer. Where are you trying to rename it, in the power query?

I tried to change the table's name both in the visual layer and in Power Query.
