How to merge a grouped table with another table?

Hi I am new to Power BI,

I am trying to merge my grouped table that I created by grouping on various columns of my original data and now I want to merge this table with another unrelated table. Once I created this grouped table I also created a relationship with my original data in the model.

Grouped table:

ID  Student_name Exam_desc                   Exam    Grades

1    Abc                  Class 12  advanced biology     Bio     A

2    Xyz                   Class 2 math           math         Math B

Other table that I want to merge with is as follows:

Exam_id   Exam_desc

123          Class 10 math

312          Class 2 math

.......................

Please let me know how to implement this. Thanks!

HI @k123,

You can add a calculate column to grouped table with lookupvalue function to find out correspond records from other table.

Exam_id =
LOOKUPVALUE ( Table2[Exam_id], Table2[Exam_desc], Groupped[Exam_desc] )
