How to create vertical chart by filtering date button

Hello,

I am trying to create a dashboard like;

sirmay_0-1619090894340.png

I have a data set which contains, "Newsales Amount", "Increase Amount", "Renewal Amount", "Proposal Presented Date", "Close Date", "Start Date" columns. As you could see at above chart that  "Proposal Presented Date", "Close Date", "Start Date" should  filter the chart as a button. Stacked vertical chart includes  "Newsales Amount", "Increase Amount", "Renewal Amount" as value.

Unfortunately I tried everyting to solve it but could not.

I would appreciate if you could help me.

Best Regards

@sirmay , first of all, if you want to change axis or filter?

if the only axis, then you can use bookmark and buttons

if if you need measure based on date, then you need to have a date table and join that with your dates, Only one active join. Then you have to use userelationship to use inactive date join

Hello @amitchandak,

Thank your for the quick respond first of all!

Actually I do need only changing axis thus below link worked with me very well.

But I have now a problem that my buttons do not work.

I have linked Close Date button with Close Date bookmark ( At Close Date bookmark, only Close Date bar chart is unhided).  Applied same step with Start Date button as well.

And I gave a try by clicking to the buttons but it did not worked.

Charts are changing when only clicking to the bookmarks.

What is the mistake here?

Regards,

Hello @amitchandak,

Seems that the problem is related bookmarks,

As you could see below when I click to Close Date bookmark, seems right bar chart is unhided.

But when when I click to the Start Date bookmark it shows wrong set up. There is still Close Date bar shart is unhided. I am changing it as Start Date bar is unhide. After I click to Start Date bookmark is turns back to wrong set up again..
