Sure, here's a more human-friendly version of the steps to change the background color for a specific column in a matrix visual in Power BI Desktop:

  1. First, select the matrix visual you want to change in your Power BI report and go to the Visualizations pane.
  2. In the Visualizations pane, click on the "..." icon at the top of the "Values" section, and select "Conditional formatting" from the dropdown menu that appears.
  3. This will open the "Conditional formatting" pane. Here, click on the "Background color" dropdown menu and select "Custom color."
  4. In the "Custom color" dialog box, pick the color you want to use for the column's background and click "OK."
  5. Under "Format by," select "Field value" and choose the column you want to format.
  6. Under "Summarization," select the appropriate aggregation function for the column.
  7. Under "Filter," select "All values" to apply the conditional formatting to all values in the column.
  8. Finally, click "OK" to apply the formatting.

That's it! These steps should change the background color for the specified column in your matrix visual. You can repeat these steps to format other columns in your matrix visual as needed.

Hello @DikshaShende ,

so you go to the formatting options of the matix, then to specific columns setting, pick the column you want the change to be on and set the background color for it.
