I know this is a common issue but I wanted to know if someone found a solution to avoid combining values on a bar chart?
I managed to do it by creating an Unique ID, but I do not like the visual aspect.
I tried to put two factors on the X-axis, and tried to hide the one I do not need but that does not work. Not clean to just hide the first line.
Anybody found a solution to solve that?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Best regards.
Hi @id9213 ,
I understand that you are looking for a way to avoid combining values on a bar chart.
One way to achieve this is by using a clustered bar chart. This chart type allows you to display multiple bars side-by-side, each representing a different category.
If you still face issues with combining values on the X-axis, you can try using a stacked bar chart instead. This chart type allows you to display multiple bars stacked on top of each other, each representing a different category.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately, it does not seem to work.
In my example, I am plotting ratings for providers that go from 1 to 5.
But when I have several occurences for Provider 6 let's say, the graph adds all the ratings and plot someting above 5, like in Graph 1.
I would like to have every occurence plotted without combining the values, like on my graph 2.
But I do not like the fact that in the legend it says Provider 1_1, Provider 1_2, ... I would like just Provider 1 plotted several times like this:
Do not hesitate to tell me if my question is not clear enough.
Thanks a lot!
