Power BI show data point table does not persist beyond session

Hi all,

I have a simple bar chart, when I click on a bar, it filters the whole chart.  So, I accessed "Data / Drill", clicked on the Data point table option on the menu and it works fine... on all my charts.  I save the file, open it again and all my charts are set such that it simply filters the chart, it does not go to the data points table.   I can set it again and it's set for the entire session, I save, I reopen and it's back to simply filtering the whole chart.

What am I doing wrong??  Have I missed a setting?    I've rebulit it several times, still unable to make it persist.

Any and all suggestions welcome.   This tool makes me feel like a dumb-dumb

Hi vanessa, thanks for replying so quickly.

OMG I'm so sorry, I posted the wrong image... it took me until yesterday to figure that out so please disregard my last image and please consider this one.  It's simply that when I set up a chart and change the Data/Drill section to Data Point Table.  It works.  I save stuff it still works.  I quit Power BI, reopen the report and that setting (Data Point Table) is not active and the chart goes back to simply filtering itself and other charts on the page (the default behavior).  I was wondering why that setting doesn't "stick" beyond the session.  Please look at the new image I'm posting.

Well it isn't a solution per se, it's a work-around.  I will unmark it as a solution since it isn't one really, just a work around.  thanks.
