How to Change the values present inside Legend

Hi All,

 

In Legend i just want to show as "M" and "F". How to change Male to M and Female to F? I dont want to go back to my edit qeries or i dont want to create any additional column. I just want to achieve it in front end. Is there any way?

if you dont want to create any additional columns use technique with grouping values https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-grouping-and-binning

 

create 2 groups: F - for female and M for male

Creating additional column or Creating Group, which one is best practice to improve performance of the dashboard?

i would recommend to create calculated or even custom (power query) column, it's more simple data storage type

Okay, Thanks. Dont we have any other option like in the visualiztion pane itself we can change the values of the legends?

i dont see such option in biult-in visuals. maybe some custm visuals from third-party developers could provide this function
