I have running total which doing as expected but I'm unable to stop it a the last value date instead it going on forever till end of date calendar.
Hi @Sun4real - Create a Measure for the Last Date with Data
LastDateWithData =
CALCULATE(
MAX(Sales[Date]),
REMOVEFILTERS('DateTable')
)
I have taken the reference of Sales[Date], you can replace with the appropriate column from your dataset that contains the date of each transaction.
create main measure using the above lastdatewithdata with running totals
RunningTotal =
CALCULATE(
SUM(Sales[Amount]),
FILTER(
ALL('DateTable'),
'DateTable'[Date] <= MAX('DateTable'[Date])
&& 'DateTable'[Date] <= [LastDateWithData]
)
)
