I am new to PowerBI and needing to create a new measure. I am trying to learn DAX but its going slowly.
I am trying to create a new variable that calculates the # of encounters with abx order (Enc With ABX Order) by the total encounters (Total Enc) BUT I need it limited to a single antibiotic (Med Root = azithromycin). Right now it is limited to all antimicrobials. Is there a way to do this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Then write something like ABX_order_count = CALCULATE(COUNT(TableName[Enc With ABX Order]), TableName[MedRoot] = "azithromycin")
You need to write the text string the same as your values so ensure that column is standardized.

Yes it is currently - I am needing to limit it essential to Enc with azithromycin order

Thank you so much!
Yes
Is the # of encounters with abx order (Enc With ABX Order) an existing column from your table?
