Help with changing data type through tabular editor and dataset on service

I have a dataset in my workspace that was created through a .pbix that I uploaded and I changed all the tables from directquery to import via tabular editor. It was done that way because the tables are big and the desktop had no RAM and it was unfeasible to work in .pbix on the desktop.

However, now I have a column in one of the tables, which I need to change the data type. It has already been exchanged in dataflow. When I connect to my dataset through the tabular editor, I perform the same data type change in the column, deploy and save. This modification doesn't happen in my dataset in the service and I can't change the column data type. Does anyone know the reason why I'm not able to change the data type by the tabular editor in my dataset?

Thanks

There are some limitations when using Tabular Editor (any edition) as an external tool for Power BI Desktop, please read this article, Power BI Desktop limitations | Tabular Editor Documentation
