Disable auto view validation for lakehouse & Warehouse to avoid sequence fails.
Currently ms fabric tries to create warehouses and lakehouses with validation on views. In most cases if view reference items that not exist yet ( example openrowset to files that not yet exist , view ref between 2 warehouses , ... ) Then the whole sync fails. Leaving you in the mid of a sync with no option to at least have infrastructure and all other artificacts available and synced in the workspace. Some messy intervention is needed to reconstruct. This makes option as 'checkout to workspace' in many cases impossible. I believe if auto validation would not be done. Running the pipelines after sync would solve the disconnect And make it possible to solve most of the disconnect in the workspace manually. Making it workable It would also make azure devops pipelines for automation much easier255Views7likes0Comments
