Help with Variant Data type

Hey All,

Is there a way to write this Calc column to show a textual value (or a blank space) instead of a 0?

BI tells me I can't have a cal column that generates a variant data type if I try and use a textual value (or blank)

ANZ Age = IF(ISBLANK('ANZ (2)'[FCS]),0,

DIVIDE( TODAY() - 'ANZ (2)'[FCS],365))

@Clint , I think you should use datediff to calculate age. You can replaceDay with Month , qtr , year , based on need

ANZ Age = IF(ISBLANK('ANZ (2)'[FCS]),0,
DIVIDE( datediff(TODAY() , 'ANZ (2)'[FCS],Day),365))

or

ANZ Age = IF(ISBLANK('ANZ (2)'[FCS]),blank(),
DIVIDE( datediff(TODAY() , 'ANZ (2)'[FCS],Day),365))

DIVIDE( TODAY() - 'ANZ (2)'[FCS],365))

@Clint you can do something like this

ANZ Age = IF(ISBLANK('ANZ (2)'[FCS]),"",
FORMAT( DIVIDE( TODAY() - 'ANZ (2)'[FCS],365), "General Number" )
)

keep in mind this will convert your measure to text
