HTML Tips on Visuals

I want to embed HTML help topics from our corporate web server onto individual visuals on a report. The option to use a tooltip on a visual doesn't exist, so I'm looking for another solution for my users. For example, for a visual, the first thing my customers will ask is "How is this calculated?" and I want to provide them with a popup modal window with an HTML document.

How do you do this in Power BI? I do not see an easy way to do this. Users need help topics and definitions on Power BI reports, and I can't believe this basic functionality was left out of development priorities.

The how-to doc says you can't use Report Tooltips on visuals... only on the data. So, Report Tooltips wouldn't work for me. I need to display help about the visual (widget) itself. And, I don't want the URL to open in a new browser tab. It needs to display on the report with the associated visual.

@JimGAR , if you do not want to use Report tooltip Page or drill through. Then you have to have HTML page, and use the URL of the page in one column. But that will open in a new window
