Google Analytics API - Default Channel Grouping Problem

Hello!

First off, thanks for reading and sharing your expertise. I'm a new Power BI user and running into some trouble with Google Analytics.

I connected GA to the desktop version of Power BI pulling in:

  • % New Sessions
  • Avg. time on Page
  • Day of the month
  • Goal Compleation
  • Goal Compleation Rate
  • Hour
  • Month of the year
  • New Users
  • Pages/Session
  • Sessions
  • Week of the year
  • Year

If i pull this data then it match, but if i add

  • Defauld Channel Grouping

The data in BI doesn't match GA. What could possibly be causing this error?  How to fix it ?  Any solutions ?

Hi @StaDiuM,

I'd like to suggest you use the power query to add data range filter:

Using dynamic parameter values in Power Query Queries
