I have an API question which I hope to get some guidance from you. This is my first GitHub reporting project where I have to create a usage report in Power BI.
I tried different ways to get the users and related usage information such as number of repositories for each user, repo type, permission level, user name etc.. I did try using a web url API connection on Power BI but I get stuck in the middle and available documentation is limited and not straightforward specially related to GitHub and Power BI API calls.
Do you know any simplified step by step resources / documentation on that please? First, I need to get my private GitHub usage details and then ultimately I need to get my organisation group GitHub usage details as mentioned above. Because at work, we have an organisation GitHub where every staff must do version controlling within the organisation group.
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!
