I can't connect the gateway to an analisys service data source

I have a report with multiple data sources on-premises, and a data source that is a powerbi (analisys service) dataset.

I can connect all on-premises data sources to the gateway, except the analisys service data source.

Previously, it was optional to connect powerbi dataset sources to the gateway. Now it is necessary to connect it to the gateway.

I downloaded the new version of the gateway and have enabled the option "allow this user's cloud data origins to be updated across this gateway cluster.

If I try to create the cloud data source, I get the warning "Currently, these cloud connections are only supported for Data Pipelines and Kusto." And it gives me the following error:

"Unable to create the data source. Unknown error

If I try to create the data source to the gateway from the data source settings I only leave the option in local and I get the following error:
"Unable to create data source. An invalid connection string has at least one of the arguments passed that does not meet the parameter specification. Check the connection string of the data source."
I cannot therefore vosulize the report in powerbi service since it seems to me that there is no gateway, and this is because I cannot connect the powerbo service source to the gateway.

This is exactly the problem with  choosing to allow refresh of cloud data sources through gateways.  Once you have done that and added a connection you cannot undo it.

I would recommend raising a Pro ticket at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/
