Hi,
I am having problem getting data submitted in www.123formsbuilder.com into PBI, it shows
or even when I put API keys/ username / pw, it also shows followings:
Question is how can I get data submitted in forms I build into PBI?
Thank You.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Update (June 5, 2018):
123forms advise to sync the form with G.sheet, then have PBI connect to G.Sheet instead.
Thank you all for your recommendations.
I don't know 123 Forms Builder specifically, but the connector you are using is attempting to load a webpage and scan that page for data. If you are submitting forms, where is the data being stored? Does 123 Forms Builder have a backend database that it stores the information? If so, what database do they use? Do you they give you a username and password for that database? Have they provided you with database connection information.
they said I can connect via API Numbers which also did not work. I will check on Uname & Pw for DB then.
Is there any other recommendation or Question I should ask them?
I'm business user with no programming background.
Thank you.
As them specifically about Power BI and see if they have any information about making such a connection.
If they don't, ask them about what "Data Connectors" they do allow.
If they suggest that Rest API is all that will give you access to, then you have a much more technical road to venture down.
Here is an article of what you can do with Rest APIs
Thank You 🙂
Hi @supannik,
Please mask your email address unless you don't mind.
Since there isn't a connector, the provider should give a proper way for us to connect. The workaround could be exporting data to files. Then import these file into Power BI.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi Dale,
Thanks for your inputs, reason asking is to look for an automate solution. Cuz otherwise, I will have to export every months for xx forms.
Im now asking them to provide me a DB view/ table so my programmer can write a script / querry to get them automatically.
Thanks.
