Get data from excel problem

Hello,

I'm trying to get some data from an excel file but there are numbers in this format " 1664_1" which will not get imported. Is there a problem with underscore data not being imported? I tried changing in excel the format from General to Text but no success. Any thoughs? Thanks

I am glad you can slove your problem. Here is the offical blog about how to change data type in Power BI.

There are two ways one is to change data type in Power Query Editor and another one is to use column tools in your report view.

Power Query:

For reference: Determine and specify a column’s data type

Solved, i had to modify data type in "Transform data" and not in Excel.
