I am trying to connect to an excel workbook that is using the EPM add-in to bring in data from SAP.
This excel will be refreshed and saved daily to update the data.
However, Power BI can only see "errors" in the datafields in the sheets that are using the EPM add-in.
Is there a way that PowerBI can "read" the data that is in the sheets using the EPM add-in?
I do not have authorization to connect directly to SAP system (and am unlikely to get that anytime soon).
is there a connector that allows for this excel with EPM? Is there another solution?

Hi @TRK ,
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea in Idea Forum , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers to provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
Best Regards,
Amy
