Get Data from Multiple Excel Files with same structure

Hi there.

I was wondering which is the best way to load multiple excel files in power bi:

  • Files NAMES have the same structure ("MMM-YYYY")
  • The internal STRUCTURE of every single file is exactly the same (columns, etc)
  • The current and future months do not exist (YET)
  • All the files are located in the SAME folder

eg.:   JAN-2022 + FEB-2022 + MAR-2022 + APR-2022 + MAY-2022 + JUN-2022

Any ideas about how to automate this ?    ->  from JAN-DEC and  2000 to 2999

Maybe DAX can help ?  / any suggestions ?

Thanks a lot !!

Hi,
You want to use Power Query (Data > Get Data > From File > From Folder)

Have a look at Import data from a folder with multiple files (Power Query) (microsoft.com)

Happy to give more detail if needed.
