Hello Fabric Community,
Good morning!😊.
How can I generate the power bi link after creating the dashboard.
Solved! Go to Solution.
After you publish your Power BI report to the Power BI Service, there are a few ways to generate a link depending on how you want to share the dashboard:
Internal sharing within your organization
Once published, go to https://app.powerbi.com, find your report or dashboard, click on Share.
You can generate a direct link or invite people by email.
Note: All recipients must have a Power BI Pro license (or the content must reside in a Premium workspace) to view it.
Publish to web (public link)
From the report, click on File > Embed report > Publish to web (public).
This generates a public link and embed code, which does not require login.
Be careful: This makes the report publicly accessible to anyone with the link. Do not use for confidential data.
Embed in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or an App
Use the "Embed in SharePoint Online" or "Embed in Teams" options depending on your target platform.
Again, users will need appropriate permissions and Pro licenses unless you're using Premium.
