Gateway setup - SQL server as source

Hi,

So I have a mini project within my company, where the data source is an SQL Server Database.

I want the data to be automatically refreshed in Power BI, the issue is that I have a local gateway installed, and If the computer is turned off, the refresh wont work.

Any ideas as to how should I proceed?

@campelliann , You should install gateway on machine, which is always on. Install it on a new machine, where you can access sql server. Login using power bi user having access to that report and was gateway admin.

Add this gateway to power bi service and add the data source.
