Hi everyone. Three people in IT working on it but nobody understands why a gateway not available for configuring. I have a pbix file on Onedrive accessing an SQL database which I have been told I have full access to.
@themistoklis Hi, thanks for the comment! I understood thtat we have a dozen of gateway installed, some of them are in use all the time. So I can see the list of them in the admin menu but I can't assign any of the relevant gateways to my dashboard.
Are all these gateways installed for the same organisation?
The account (email account) that you have used to access the PowerBI online service.. is it part of the same organisation (e.g. it is not a peronal or guest account)?
Yes, correct
For a test i would suggest the following.
Install Gateway (personal mode) on your PC and then when you sign in to Gateway app please use the same username and password that you use to access the online PowerBI service.
Then check again if the same message appears.
Have you installed PowerBI gateway to any machine and configured it properly?
It is a step that you need to do, so as PowerBI service to get access to the relevant files and databases:
