Hi Guys,
I need your help.
I need to freeze my database every month so i can see the status when the month is over and the next month I need to update the database.
I thought to create a new column with the number of the month, but i dont know how can I add the data below my existing data so i can freeze the future months status.
In the end of a year, we need to validate the goals using the database, evaluating the number status every end of the month. That's why we need to freeze the number every end of the month and add new data below.
If i wasn't clear enough, please tell me.
Thanks!!
Hi @Anonymous
I'm afraid i cannot fully understand it.Could you share some sample data and explain more about your expected output? Please refer to How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly.

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, i can't provide data, because is classified. I can provide the headers, so you can understand better what i'm saying.
| Purch.Doc. | Item | Purch.Req. | Item_1 | Order Date | Vendor Name | Net Value USD | Delivered in USD | Invoiced in USD |
So, I'm extracting this from tables in SAP and a I need to build a payment report.
I need to freeze the status of all payments every end of month, and if I refresh the database using only the refresh button I overwrite the payment status that were written there.
So I need to find a way to increment the database with the new month information, so i can compare the status of the payment with the last month.
Basically, I need to create a new column that refers to the month that I'm updating the payment report and next month increment that database with the same purchase orders and requirements to see how the payment status has changed.
Did you understand? It's kind difficult indeed to explain.
Thank you!!
