Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a column that uses a parameter.
My parameter will be a date, and I need to fill my column according to an "IF" formula that compares the dates from another column to my parameter date, but I don't know how to address my parameter in DAX language.
I tried to put an "#" before the name of my parameter in the formula but that doesn't work.
Could you help me please?
Thanks
Hi @JulietteGSA,
It would be easy if we create a table directly. There is similar feature "What if" that only support numbers for now. Please also refer to How-to-reference-a-parameter-to-a-DAX-function/td-p/60517 and dynamic-parameters-for-what-if-analysis.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hello @JulietteGSA,
According to sqlbi.com, In order to have a parameter in a measure, you need a table with a column that contains all the possible values you might want to use... allows transferring a value through the filter context".
You should include sample data with your expected outcome and maybe we can assist further.
