Formatting Chart Objects

Day 2 of learning Power BI: I am recreating something from Excel and would like to have objects look the same. The image below shows a side by side with Excel on the left. I can't find anywhere that lets me format objects in Power BI similar to the way that can be done in Excel.

  • Vertical Text Box - Can this be centered veritically?
  • Charts
    • Can I remove "Count of Status" and "Divison"?
    • Instead of the label showing Percent, can it show Count?

I am falling in love with Power BI. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Dale

Carriage return is a new line character.

Just press "Enter" before the start of your text to move the visible text downwards as many times as you need to get it into the centre of the box.

Now I see. "Carriage Return". Didn't think about it until now. I am guessing that term goes back to the type writer days. 🙂

Just add carriage returns to the text and it will move it down to the centre of the box.

You can remove the "Count of Status" and "Division" by switching the X-axis and Y-axis titles to "Off", e.g.:

Thanks for your help. I found everything except carriage returns for a text box. Where might I find that setting?
