Hello everyone,
Can PBI flag a case as an issue based on "Problem" mentioned in the data.
In the below example,
Machine:233 Victor has created 2 cases for the same problem (BIOS) hence flag=1,
Machine:301 Harveyhas created 2 cases for the similar problem (contains Paper Jam) hence flag=1,
Machine:423 Chris has created 2 cases for different problems hence flag=0
| Machine | Agent | Created on | Closed on | Days_to_close | Problem | Flag |
| 234 | James | 2/23/2023 | 2/27/2023 | 5 | Display Issue | 0 |
| 233 | Victor | 2/13/2023 | 2/19/2023 | 7 | BIOS | 1 |
| 233 | Victor | 2/21/2023 | 2/25/2023 | 5 | BIOS | 1 |
| 301 | Harvey | 2/23/2023 | 2/27/2023 | 5 | Paper Jam | 1 |
| 301 | Harvey | 2/28/2023 | 3/2/2023 | 3 | Repeat Paper Jam | 1 |
| 423 | Chris | 2/21/2023 | 2/25/2023 | 5 | Wifi not detected | 0 |
| 423 | Chris | 2/27/2023 | 3/2/2023 | 4 | Paper Jam | 0 |
Thanks for offering help. Since this is a complicated logic, I had to code the logic in Python.
Though an unrelated video, it will help you create a SWITCH() based on text in a column:
