First and Last Date Metric Help

Currently trying to delevope a metric to calculate the difference between the first and last date of a specific group of data with the same "element_id" below is what i've been working on, any tips?

Example Table:

I need the difference between the earliest time and latest time for each group of element ids.

FLR = VAR firsttime =

CALCULATE(

VALUES('sys_journal_field'[sys_created_on]),

FILTER(ALLEXCEPT('sys_journal_field','sys_journal_field'[element_id]), FIRSTDATE(sys_journal_field[sys_created_on]))

)

VAR lasttime =

CALCULATE(

VALUES('sys_journal_field'[sys_created_on]),

FILTER(ALLEXCEPT('sys_journal_field','sys_journal_field'[element_id]), LASTDATE(sys_journal_field[sys_created_on]))

)

Return

DATEDIFF(firsttime, lasttime, MINUTE)

Hi,

You have not mentioned the problem that you are facing.  Anyways, drag element_id to the visual and write this measure

Measure = max(sys_journal_field[sys_created_on])-min(sys_journal_field[sys_created_on])
