Finding report location from a query

Hi Team,

I am looking for steps to find out a report location in PBI service based on query.

We came across issue of certain query running very long and need to find out the report name and location of it in Power BI service.

Do we have any steps or direct/indirect to get the same information?

Hi @Anonymous,

How did you get this query? What is the purpose of obtaining the report name and location? The location which you required means the workspaces where the report is located or the path where the report is stored in Power BI Service? If it requires a report storage path, then this cannot be achieved since power bi has blocked all request that tries to access or get specific file locations.

You can view the refresh history in power bi service gateway (https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Refresh-History-Log/td-p/358069) to determine which is causing the delay. I recommend reviewing it desktop to change the source after that.
