Hi All.
This may be impossible at the moment but I'd like to ask just in case. I have a table with the below information:
Monthly | January 1, 2017 |
Quarterly | January 1, 2017 |
Yearly | December 1, 2016 |
Monthly | February 1, 2017 |
Quarterly | April 1, 2017 |
Yearly | December 1, 2017 |
Monthly | March 1, 2017 |
Quarterly | July 1, 2017 |
Monthly | April 1, 2017 |
On the filter pane, I added the Date to the Filters on this page. On the report page I have a slicer based on the first column, I guess we can call this "View". When I select a view I would like for the Dates on the filter pane to filter as well. How can this be achieveable?
For instance, if I select Monthly, these are the results I want to see:
Quarterly:
Yearly:
HI @hnguyen76
If you add date as a second slicer on the page, selecting the 'View' first will filter the date slicer as you require. You can make the date slicer a drop down to avoid it taking up too much space.
regards,
Neville
I actually need the "View" to be directly on the page as a slicer. I also cannot have the Date on the report page as well. That is my limitation currently. If I would have had it my way, both of them would be actually on the filter pane itself.
