I have two tables that look like this:
Table 1 | Table 1 Table 2 | Table 2
Names IDs 1-->* IDs | Unique transactions
The 'Names' column contains every single name in the organization. I want to create a slicer using the 'Names' column but limit it to only the 'Names' that have IDs appearing in the 'IDs' column on Table 2. (this is a 1 to * relationship).
I feel like this is very basic, but can anyone please help me figure this out?
Thank you! Will be sure to mark the solution.

Okay ^^ it was very simple and I figured it out.
=if(count(TransactionID)>0,1,0))
Then set that as a filter on the slicer with 'Names'. Only show values where the measure = 1.
Thanks you!
Use the Filters pane to filter out values based upon the column you want to filter.
Care to be more specific?
I tried "Transaction ID" IS NOT BLANK but that didn't work. I assume I have to create a new table with only names with transactions, but I'm unsure how to go about doing that.
