Filter to change columns in matrix

Hi guys, 

I've got a matrix chart that look similar to this, what I want is a filter above it with a drop down so I can change "asset class" to "Region" for example and now the columns would change to the regions but everything else will stay the same. 

I've thought maybe I can do it with bookmarks but then this would effect the rest of my report right, if there is other filters applied there. 

Any helps appreciated.

@DarylRob , yes, you need a boomarks. or unpivot the columns
