Hi everyone
I am looking for a way where I fill in input in PowerBI (nvarchar), & get the results in the form of a table in PowerBI. I tried googling around but could not find proper answers.
For instance, the end user will enter the serial number of a product in a text box, and power BI will return the results pertaining to that serial number in a table.
This is how I get it done through query: select top 10 * from mio008_epc_event_fact where serial_number='17YCBV738D' order by document_creationdatetime asc ;
So, I would like the user to input whichever serial number they would want to see the details for, and PowerBI would return the table accordingly. (I tried placing a serial number filter, but it is not a good user experience as all the serial numbers come there & this table has millions of records). Please help!
