I can't set the interactions between by my visuals to filter instead of highlight.
I used to see icons like this
But now all I see is this
Did something change to remove this feature or have I inadvertantly switched it off?

The latest version of power bi just updated icons to look more friendly, but they still do the samething in the same order.

under file setting of report
after check mark this option I can see highlight option also

I notice that my icons are different to yours. I am running Version: 2.139.1733.0 64-bit (January 2025)

What visuals are you trying to create cross-highlight interctions for?
Slicers to other visuals - filter only
Other visuals to matrices/tables - filter only
Between matrices and tables - filter only
I'm filtering between chart visuals
