Hi experts!
I'm hoping to create a report with the ability to select different time range. I have a date dim table linked to a service_date column in my fact table. It contains boolean value such as 'prior 6 weeks to date', 'prior 12 months' etc. Currently I have to pre-filter these options so users do not get confused about true/false. But often they ask for a different date range. So I end up creating multiple pages for each requested range...
I'm thinking about having a few tiles (or other type of visuals) for users to select. So when they click on 'prior week' then data will be filter to that, then they can click another tile, lets say current month', then data will switch to that range.
Are there some type of visualizations to handle this?
Thank you so much!
@christielu this is an amazing blog post and you can tweak it as you see fit. The solution @Ashish_Mathur has provided is great and works out of the box without doing anything crazy but you are stuck with the in-built options.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make effort to give Kudos to whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
