Having trouble creating a filter from a date table slicer

Each record in my data has a Submitted Date, Approved Date, Not Approved Date, and Implemented Date (some will be null).

I will have separate visuals that are filtered on a date range for those date fields.

However, I only want my user to have to input the date range one time.

I created a date table, unrelated to my main table.  The date table is named "DateTable-Unrelated", with the date field named "Date Selection.

I made a between slicer, based on the date table.

In my main table, I created a measure the following measures:
StartSelectedDate =CALCULATE(
MIN( 'DateTable-Unrelated'[DateSelection] ),
ALLSELECTED( 'DateTable-Unrelated'[DateSelection] ))
EndSelectedDate =CALCULATE(
MAX( 'DateTable-Unrelated'[DateSelection] ),
ALLSELECTED( 'DateTable-Unrelated'[DateSelection] ) )
Those measures work - when I make cards with them they show the right data.

But when I create the column below (to use as a filter on the visual) - it doesn't work.  I get "Yes" even when the Accepted Date is outside the slicer value.
Accepted In Date Range = If(MainTable[Accepted Date]>=MainTable[StartSelectedDate], "Yes", "No")

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you!

@NonnaBlue becuase you create those as a measure and then you are adding as a column, you can change Accepted Date in Range as a measure

Accepted In Date Range = If(MAX(MainTable[Accepted Date])>=[StartSelectedDate], "Yes", "No")
