Filter a column with multiple time for a single date to get latest time for each date

Hi, I have a column with multiple time stamps for each date. Need to filter it to show latest time for each date.

@sayali_deshmukh add a separate column for the date and then add the following measure

Latest Time =
CALCULATE ( MAX ( Table[DateTimeColumn] ), ALLEXCEPT ( Table, Table[Dateonlycolumn] ) )

I would  Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

Hi @sayali_deshmukh ,

you can add a new calculated column like:

IsLatestTime = IF(Table1[Merged]=[LatestTime],"Y","N")

and then filter by that column.

Hope it helps.

Cheers,

Marco

Hi I was able to filter the table for latest time stamp for each date by creating two columns and filtering the second column.

Latest Time = CALCULATE ( MAX ( Table[DateTimeColumn] ), ALLEXCEPT ( Table, Table[Dateonlycolumn] ) )

IsLatestTime = IF(Table1[Merged]=[LatestTime],"Y","N")

Thanks @parry2k  and @MarcoPessina

Hi @parry2k
Thanks for your reply.

By creating a new column, I am able to get latest time stamp values against each date.

But I need to filter the complete table to get only latest values for each date.
