Filled Map

Hi,

I have been using the map function for over a year - but for some reason the filled map is now only filling a few cities/towns whereas before it was filling every location included in the data set. The locations in the data haven't changed.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi @AzwarMakhdum ,

To ensure accuracy, please verify that you are using latitude and longitude coordinates rather than location names or addresses. Additionally, check to see if any filtering conditions have been applied or if interactions with other visuals are causing the data to filter. If the problem persists, please provide a .pbix file or screenshot of the sensitive data that has been removed to further diagnose the problem.

Best Regards,
Zhu

It still did not work. When I switch the bubble layer on and the filled map off on the same map all cities appear correctly but when I disable the bubble layer and enable the filled map format they dissapear and only a few cities appear.

Hi Zhu,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I can try this this however Microsoft also released this article: Geocoding in Azure Maps Power BI visual - Microsoft Azure Maps | Microsoft Learn where under the location field heading it says that it should work by using the cities,

I will try and use lontitude and latitude to see if it helps.

Many thanks.
