Filled Map not working with Json file

Hi,

I am trying to create a  filled map for my report. However, Shape options are available for few countries and I am interested in India. Hence, for checking the capability i downloaded India shape file  and converted the same to .json (with mapshaper) for consuming in filled map. After importing the  .json file as shape, my filled map is not showing.

    Hi ask4atish ,

    I think what you are talking about should be a Shape Map Visual. To use it, you can refer to this document.

    I have tested on my side and it works well.

    Please check:

    1. You can download custom map files from here.

    2. Then convert one .shp file to TopoJSON via the Map Shaper tool.

    3. Create a Shape map visual.

    4. Put one column holds the Country information on Location field and one value column on Color saturation field.

    5. Import the TopoJSON file.
