Fill rows between start and stop

Hello,

I would like to fill rows between a start and stop flag, but leave null values outside of these falgs.

Can anyone help with this?
Sample Data:

Finish Friday

Start Friday

Desired Output:

Finish Sunday

Start Sunday

Task1
Finish Friday
Friday

Hi @taylorsamy ,

Your data model cannot fill in blanks. You need a column to group the start finish date, and then create an index column.

Please refer to the sample pbix.

@taylorsamy Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

Hi @Greg_Deckler
I checked and did not find any solution to my question.
I would love to upload a larger sample set, but every type of file that I try to attach I get an error saying it is not supported.

Basically I have a table that looks like the sample data in the question, with mostly null values, then a start/stop value for each day. I want to fill something into the rows between the start and stop values, while leaving the rest of the nulls alone.

Thanks for your help
