Dear community, have the following table. Sales Price date only occur when sales were made in the months. no sales no sales price.
thats the table i'm looking for.
in all months without sales (marked in yellow) i need to show the sales price of the last months i sold something.

my original sales data table looks like this
in my sales data table i dont have empty rows to fill those with the transform function.
the first column (Date) is from my Calendar Table = Calendar [Date]
Sales Price is from Sales Data Table - Column Sales Price
(i have filtered one Item #Item 1, otherwise the table would contain mupltiple items and prices for each month)
My ultimate goal is to compare YTD vs. previous year sales price
In PowerQuery, select your Sales Price columns and go to Transform > Fill > Down.
After the fill:
