File tab in Power Query Editor

In Power Query Editor, I have a File tab but I am being told that not everyone sees the File tab. I am on the February 2025 version of Desktop, I have all Preview features turned off. I can't find anything that would enable or disable the File tab in Power Query Editor. Can anyone confirm/deny that the File tab sometimes doesn't show up and under what conditions it shows up or does not show up?

I don't have it Version: 2.140.1577.0 64-bit (February 2025). Thought connecting to a excel might show it up, but nope.

Do you see it when you are not connected to any sources?

@Deku Yeah, we are on the same version. I see it whether I am connected to anything or not.
