Hello,
I am building a set of tools that should allow users to import their own data.
Is it possible to get meta data about a source file used for data imports?
For instance, a user loads "User/Documents/Report March.xlsx".
Does anyone know of a way to the get the path, size, type, name and put them in a card in the dashboard?
Thanks, Ruben
Hi @Anonymous
You can do it using the query editor.
the below article will guide you how

Thank you @Mariusz,
I'm afraid the example I gave was misleading as I mentioned a month, sorry. The data won't necessarily come from the same folder each time, or even be the next month.
Can I get Information about any source file in general into a visualization?
Kindest regards,
Ruben
Hi @Anonymous ,
I do not think is can be completed with Power Query Editor, because that the query based on another query name (or the name of table imported), but the table name user imported cannot be constant.
