Exporting to CSV (Power Automate Button)

Hi there,

I have created a button to export to CSV (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnTipbooeP0), which works perfectly on my powerbi service area. I have a PRO account.
Although I share one report with "Publish to Web", and here the Button does not work as I suspected.
Is there a way for a user to export a CSV file with a free account, or he must be PRO also.

Thanks

Hi @campelliann ,

I saw the same situation as you in the video comments, the button will not trigger after setting 'Publish to web'.

You can export data to CSV from Power BI by the following ways:

1.Copy Data from Data View in Power BI Desktop and Paste it to Destination

2.Copy Data from Query Editor in Power BI Desktop and Paste it to Destination

3.Export Data from Power BI Desktop to CSV or TXT Using DAX Studio

4.Importing Power BI Desktop Directly to Excel

5.Export the data that was used to create a visualization to Excel

I want it to happen automatically, without any human action.

thank you for your reply,
I use a powerbi with licensed.

that's what I need,
Every day the dashboard has an automatic update.
After the update, I want to have a trigger and retrieve the information in a file located on a blob.

Hi Campellian,

Refer >> Solved: Export data with free user - Microsoft Power BI Community

Free users can export data from report to PowerPoint, csv/excel. In the following official articles, it doesn't mention that license is required to export data.

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-publish-to-powerpoint/
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-export-data/
