I have created several table visualizations and was trying to export. I am not given the option to choose summarized data when I click on the More Options ... in the upper right corner. I'm using Power BI Desktop downloaded a few months ago..
I went into the settings and have chosen the ability for end users (me) to export summarized data.

What is your expected outcome? What are you planning to do with the extracted data?
It is an array of members with spending by month. I would be using it in excel. The real issue is that the option to see a table visualization even a small one isn't coming up.
