Export from matrix without expand row

Hi,

Can I export in excel with only collapsed rows?

I don't want to see all the expanded rows when I export.

Currently whether I expand or not, it always be exported in expanded views.

Hope to export as it is below:

  • Hi Anonymous - In Power BI, when you export data from a matrix or table visual, the exported file typically includes all the detailed rows, regardless of whether they are collapsed or expanded in the visual. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to export only the collapsed view as it appears in Power BI.

    Eg,

you can raise it as an idea:

Custom Visuals Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community

In Power BI, you can choose to export data as summarized rather than detailed. This option might help you get a more aggregated view that doesn't include all the expanded rows.If this method not fit your need enhancing the export process with Power Automate or third-party tools.

    Hope it helps.
