Explain relationships

Hi,

I have data I inported from Excel but I want to create a table in power BI with the same exact data and eventually add a relationship to each column from one table to another. I will be inputting the numbers I have right now in the custom made table but eventually....

If I do this will a change in the excel table (in the data) change the custom table because I built a relationship to every single column? I'm trying to understand how relationships work
