using the waterfall feature in Charts. the spread of my horiztonal lines is $100,000 - I would like it to be every $500,000. I have watched several videos where the value can be manually changed. I do not have that option. Any suggestions?

Hi @Pbas1968 -Horizontal lines (also known as Y-axis intervals) in Power BI's Waterfall
On the right-hand side of Power BI Desktop, ensure that the "format" pane is visible.

I wonder why this was marked 'solved'? The user asked for Excel, and the response was for Power BI Desktop.
The answer is that in Excel, waterfall charts cannot be as completely formatted as regular charts (long story). The major unit (distance between gridlines) cannot be modified in a waterfall chart.
